On Wednesday, April 14, 2 employees from the same household who work at our Commissary location tested positive on pre-screening rapid tests. They had both worked the previous day in an area which has not had any previous cases. It was at this time the decision to close the facility and a further decision to cancel the following days production and send all staff for lab testing before opening. The Commissary will remain closed until Friday in which we will begin scaled back production with staff that are either vaccinated, have self-isolated for 14 days, or recovered staff. We do not believe there is a public safety risk at this time.

On Tuesday, April 13 Summerhill Market was notified that an employee of our Commissary location tested positive for COVID-19. We also had an employee pre-screen as positive for COVID 19 before entering the facility. At this time we are planning a deep clean and closing parts of the facility to ensure a safe work environment.

On Friday, April 9th Summerhill Market was notified that an employee of our Annex location tested positive for COVID-19. Our employee’s last shift was on Monday, April 5th and we are following public health guidelines and there was 1 employee we are investigating as a close contact for testing and quarantine. We do not believe there is a public safety risk at this time.

As of April 2, 2021, Summerhill Market was notified of 3 employees that tested positive for COVID-19 cases in our Commissary Kitchen facility. This declares an outbreak and was contained to our office staff and a manager. Last days worked were March 31, April 2, and April 3. We do not believe there is a public safety risk at this time.

On Monday, January 4th Summerhill Market was notified that an employee of our Annex location tested positive for COVID-19. Our employee’s last shift was on December 31 and we are following public health guidelines and sending staff in close contact for testing and quarantine. We do not believe there is a public safety risk at this time.
